It was my first time to visit this restaurant and I definitely will come back! I tried their lunch for restaurant week and really loved all the dishes. The wait staff was so friendly and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We’ve had a meal here a couple of times over the last few years, the recent June menu by the new chef is hands down on of our best meals ever. The service is great, the pairing of Japanese and Mexican flavours inspired. There was a surprise element in all of the dishes we ordered and the flavours worked together very well. Even though I was full, I couldn’t stop stealing bites from my partner’s pistachio gateau!

Fantastic dinner during Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW). We went for the SRW fixed menu, after first cocktails ("Smoky Nutcracker") and a half dozen excellent oysters. Both the Charred Beet & Orchard Pear and Chanterelle Veloute were exquisite, as were the pork belly and sturgeon mains. Finished it off with Dark Chocolate Coffee Ganache and Pumpkin Bread Pudding, and we were super satisfied. Really great service as well. The dining room is inviting and quiet.

Met up with family here. Hasn't changed much in 25 years except for occasional cobwebs. Missing was the face of executive chef, Bobby Moore. We were greeted immediately when we walked in the door and asked if we had reservations. We did and were then seated near the kitchen service bar where we could see much of the food being prepared. The restaurant is very clean but I did notice frayed carpet at edges of concrete floor. Drinks were ordered quickly and the restaurant was starting to fill up. Drinks were served within minutes. After a couple of minutes, our orders were taken. Food arrived hot 5 minutes later. I had their Barking Frog breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the roasted potatoes were tasty with the roumalade. The two huckleberry pancakes were also cooked perfectly with both bacon and sausages. Pricing is slightly above market but the quality makes it worth it.

We dined Saturday 11/15/3025. I brought a 2005 Pesquera from Spain. We ordered cocktails. Lovely service, gorgeous food. Sommelier Tyler was fantastic.

We chose this place to have my bday lunch here. Its a nice place with a cabin like feeling inside. They also offer outdoor seating. The food is very tasty and the staff is very helpful. Highly recommended is their Creme Brûlée, which made our experience so full filling. They offer a huge variety of wines and cocktails. They have good amount of parking spaces. Prior Reservations are recommended to avoid any kind of waiting.

I've had both breakfast and lunch here. Today for lunch I ordered the Monte Cristo. Made with really fresh ingredients. The unique thing about the sandwich is the pear butter. Unfortunately, I was not a huge fan.I am more of a traditionalist and enjoyed jam on the side. It was a nice portion and the presentation was good.I will say their breakfast potatoes and their french fries were exceptional. I also ordered a bloody mary and it was fantastic.

From start to finish, everything about our visit was first-class. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. The standout of the evening was the halibut — perfectly seared on the outside, moist and buttery inside, with a delicate balance of flavors that really showed off the chef’s skill. Every bite melted in my mouth. The seasonal accompaniments complemented it beautifully, adding just the right mix of texture and brightness. The Barking Frog continues to deliver one of the best fine-dining experiences in the Pacific Northwest — creative, consistent, and always memorable. I’ll absolutely be coming back, especially for that halibut!
